Loyal Blair is a retired rancher and US Navy veteran from Colorado, now living in Dayton, Ohio. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Union Institute & University. He has been an investor in FNMA and FMCC since July 2008, but has never invested in a hedge fund.
Mr. Blair is concerned that new reform proposals like Johnson-Crapo do not protect veterans’ benefits and thousands of jobs will be lost through the dissolution of Fannie and Freddie. Moreover, he is concerned that the rights he fought hard to protect, like protection of private property, are now being threatened by the United States government. Mr. Blair believes that if U.S. government is permitted to take shareholders’ property, it opens the door for illegal taking of any citizens’ property and closes the door on our Constitution.
